For MSPs Launching January 2027

See every client network —
all 12 layers, automatically.

Alluvial Systems is the intelligent visibility and documentation layer for MSPs. An on-site agent discovers every device, system, and connection across your clients’ environments and turns it into living, always-current documentation, so you stop guessing and start knowing.

Early access + a say in the roadmap for everyone who joins before launch.

The hidden cost of not knowing

Documentation is the job nobody loves — until something breaks.

Client networks change every day. Documentation goes stale the moment it’s written, diagrams never match reality, and your techs lose hours hunting for the details that should already be at their fingertips. When an outage, an audit, or a departing engineer hits, the gaps become expensive.

Your RMM tells you a device is reachable. It can’t tell you whether it’s configured right or how it connects to everything around it.

Stale, manual docs

Maintained by hand, so they’re always behind reality.

Shallow discovery

Flat asset lists, not the real relationships between things.

Weak multi-tenant visibility

Every client is a separate black box you re-learn each time.

How it works

Discovery that documents itself — and stays current.

A lightweight on-site agent discovers your client’s environment locally and securely (outbound-only, encrypted, running only command sets the platform has signed), redacts sensitive data before it leaves the site, and sends it to the cloud, where every object is tagged across 12 layers and the connections between them are mapped. New discovery merges automatically, and every manual edit you make is preserved.

01
Deploy the agent

A signed Windows service, installed by MSI. Outbound-only over pinned TLS, with no inbound holes in the client’s firewall.

02
Auto-discover & map

SNMPv3, WMI, SSH, NETCONF, and vendor APIs, plus the inventory already in your PSA/RMM. Every connection mapped.

03
Always current

Incremental updates keep docs live; your manual edits always survive the merge.

// the core differentiator

Not a flat asset list. A real model of the environment.

Most tools give you a table of devices. Alluvial understands every object across 12 OSI-style layers (from chassis, power, and hardware up through the network, operating systems, applications, cloud, and distributed services), with connections mapped at every layer.

The bottom ten layers describe a single device; the top two span many, like HA pairs and distributed applications. It’s the difference between a list and a map.

The platform

One platform. Every layer. Every client.

Every application runs on the same layered foundation and shares the same assets, so what you document, you’ll be able to configure and monitor without leaving the platform. Documentation Manager is furthest along, with IPAM, Warranty Manager and License Manager already connected to it. Configuration Manager and Asset Monitoring are in design, and we’re building them in the open.

Documentation Manager + connected apps

Separate apps, same assets. IPAM, Warranty Manager and License Manager each read Documentation Manager’s inventory and report their status back to the asset record, so a device’s IPs, warranty and licenses sit in one place.

Flagship
Documentation Manager

Turns discovery into living, searchable documentation on the 12-layer model: asset inventory, topology diagrams, a knowledgebase, and PDF/DOCX exports.

Auto-discovery Knowledgebase Living docs
IPAM

Client-scoped IP address management, matched to each DM asset: subnet maps, utilization and exhaustion, conflict detection, NAT translation maps, and view-only DNS & DHCP.

Subnet maps Conflicts NAT
Warranty Manager

Hardware and service coverage across every client or one at a time: expiry countdowns, coverage gaps against DM assets, a renewal pipeline with cost roll-ups, and claim/RMA tracking.

Coverage gaps Renewals Claims
License Manager

Every license type, subscriptions included: per-seat, per-device, perpetual and volume. Seat counts, renewals, unlicensed-asset gaps, and a masked key vault with audited reveal.

Subscriptions Renewals Key vault
In design

Configuration Manager and Asset Monitoring will share the same asset record. We’re building them in the open, so the details may change before launch.

Configuration Manager

Git-style version control for device configs: versioned backups, diffs, Golden Config baselines, and drift detection. Read-only in v1: it reports drift, never pushes config.

In design Drift v1 read-only
Asset Monitoring

Health monitoring with SCOM-style rollup, thresholds, alerting, and configured-vs-actual reconciliation. It detects and alerts; it doesn’t remediate.

In design Health rollup Alerting
// the 3-legged stool of truth

Monitoring shouldn’t stop at “is it up?” Asset Monitoring is designed to compare what each device is supposed to do against what it’s actually doing, and flags the difference. From “is it up?” to “is it right?”

Trust & compliance

Built for MSPs who can’t afford to get security wrong.

Designed to HIPAA/HiTech requirements from day one. Each client’s data lives in its own isolated schema under its own encryption key. Add SSO with MFA, role-based and per-client access control, approval for privileged actions, and a hash-chained audit log, and every client’s data stays exactly where it should.
